then i think people are reading to much in the scales appearing on laxus boby, i personally think that mashima draw that just to show reader that laxus was really a DS.i take laxus case the same as gajeel where when he activate more of his DS power the scales start showing. secondly there is the fact that marakov is about to shit his pant(even mavis went shit panty mode) at the mere mention that sting and rogue were gona activate DF and he looked surprised as if he's never witnessed it suggesting that what laxus has isn't DF firstly whenever anyone is about to enter DF, mashima make different character stress and emphasized that the power being used is in DF mode, to let the reader know, something he did with natsu and both sting and rogue, while we didn't get such statement for laxus Many people on these forums have been refering to that as DF while some disagree.but i think i pretty clear that it's not dragon force and i'll give you reason : Ok i think we should all try to have some kind of understanding or agreement to what we should see laxus when scales appear on his body.personally i actually believe that it's not DF
