They may or may not be lore friendly (and will be tagged as such) This list is a compilation of mods off of the Nexus Top 100, My Personal list, and some choices from the community. This will list mods that are on a lot of peoples top lists. Any mod over 1gb in size will be listed with this tag This mod contains nudity or other content that goes beyond Fallouts normal level of violence

Note, some of these mods have versions for people with lesser hardware POWERFUL RIG NEEDED - This will tell you that the mod listed requires a fairly powerful computer to run. Most of the time it will be due to weapons and items added in that do not exist in fallouts timeline NOT LORE FREINDLY - This means the mod does not fit into the lore and canon of the Fallout Universe for whatever reason. Keep in mind! Not all of these mods are compatible with each other, some mods need to be chosen over others (lighting overhauls for example) READ EVERYTHING on a mods page for info I have created a generalized list of popular mods, and another few lists (that may have duplicate listed mods) for people looking for certain things for their games. Some people like realism, some people like overpowered weapons, some people have super powerful computers and want to push them to the max with graphical mods. It is important to realize that not every mod is for you.
